If Private Pay care is appropriate and acceptable:

An appointment at your home is scheduled and our Registered Nurse will complete a comprehensive assessment. Your needs will be discussed and a detailed Plan of Care will be developed. An order for home care services will be obtained by the agency RN from your Authorized Practitioner. It is required that your Practitioner be licensed to practice in NYS.

Once you’ve agreed on the Plan of Care with the RN, you will be required to sign a Service Agreement. This agreement may be modified if your needs change.

Our service minimum is 1 hour. We do request that you provide us ample notification with cancellations. However, we understand emergencies arise. We do bill 1 hour for non-emergency cancellations without notice.

It is important that you are satisfied with your home care services and your caregiver. So never hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns.

HASCA does not bill Medicaid, Medicare or other insurances including Long Term Care companies. We will however, with your written consent, provide your Long Term Care insurance company with documentation of services they require to reimburse you.
